About this program
The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) program prepares you to provide personal care and support to clients in their homes. Our training follows the New Jersey curriculum of 60 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of hands‑on clinical skills, and prepares you for certification through the New Jersey Board of Nursing.

Requirements (New Jersey)
- Be at least 18 years old

- Criminal background check and fingerprinting are required
- At registration bring: government‑issued ID, Social Security card, birth certificate, and (if not a U.S. citizen) proof of work eligibility
